DÉNOUEMENT “Dénouement” (day-nou-ma)—yet another French word that sounds so magical to me. Google tells us that “Dénouement” is the final outcome of a story, generally occurring after the climax of the plot. Often it's where all the secrets (if there are any) are revealed and loose ends are tied up.” Amen! to our Holiday Boutique’s final outcome preceded by the climax of the plot and completed with the telling of our secrets and the tying up of loose ends. |
The final outcome for our “Dénouement” is the dream of a Holiday Boutique transformed into a fabulously successful reality raising income for artCentral artists and funds for artCentral to continue in our work supporting art and artists in the year to come.
Our secrets to reveal include the generosity of art-loving Carthaginians and neighbors who shopped locally in support of art and artists plus our amazing cadre of artCentral Voluncheers.
To our energetic and dedicated Voluncheers who greeted and assisted artists and guests, wrapped gifts, checked out purchases, stayed late to tabulate sales, reset Hyde House post Boutique and made generous and timely donations—Jackie Boyer, Jim Bracht, Cindy Chilton, Becky Edds, Liz Foster, Bren and Betsy Flanigan, Judith and Pat Goff, Kim Guthrie, Helen Kunze, Lee and Emma Pound, Brenda Spencer, Dan Trogdon, Jane VanDenBerg, Corrinne Waggoner and Gail White.
To our Voluncheers for our three fundraising projects…
